I have exactly this problem with a 93 C2. It coincided with an immobilizer problem - having disconnected the immobilizer I find the tiptronic warning light is lit and not only does manual not work but the supposed "4th gear default" described in the handbook seems to make the engine rev very high. It's sitting in a repair shop this morning so I hope I'll know later...
No that's a mechanical problem, not electrical
Could be either, check the fluid first.
You would need to diagnose the problem to determine why the cam sensor is failing. It could be a mechanical problem and they are breaking or an electrical problem and burning out.
Try pulling up the know manually ... with your fingers. At least you will know then if this is a mechanical or electrical problem. If electrical, it's probably either a bad switch or fuse.
There are multiple electrical and mechanical causes to a no start condition. No fuel pressurization and spark may indicate a fuse or electrical fault, as opposed to a starting system problem alone.
That is the safety default (limp in) gear. The trans computer has detected a problem. You need to have the tcm checked for codes. The problem could be electrical or mechanical.
What is your problem with tail light options?
Many mechanical and electrical items could be the cause. Even a flat, or almost flat, tire can cause a problem. Check the steering fluid as well.
Take it to a paintball field and have it looked at. Or be specific about he electrical problem.
i did 7 quarts last time no problem
Yes, electrical power outages can be influenced by geography. Factors such as weather conditions (e.g. storms, extreme temperatures), geographical location (e.g. urban vs rural areas, proximity to power plants or transmission lines), and topography (e.g. mountains, coastlines) can all impact the frequency and severity of power outages in a specific area.
RPM is the abbreviation for revolutions per minute and is a measurement of the revolutions of the engine crankshaft. Literally, if your "RPMs stop working" your motor isn't running. However, you are probably referring to the tachometer, the meter that displays the number of rpm's your engine turns, that has stopped working. There are two basic types of tachometers: electrical and mechanical. Electrical tachometers calculate the engine speed by counting electrical pulses while the mechanical tachometers have a mechanical cable attaching to the engine, generally the ignition distributor or camshaft. So, if your tachometer is not working you have either have an electrical problem, a broken cable or the meter itself has become defective.
