have you checked to see if the timing belt or chain is broken? have you checked cylinder compression? is the oil up to proper level?
Most oxygen sensors are either on the exaust headpipe just after the manifold or on the manifold. I don't know where it is exactly on the Lumina but that is where you should start looking.
u need to have your coil packs checked
Check at the wheels to make sure that the abs sensors have not become disconnected. The wiring or the sensors are the most likely causes.

what year? and what size engine? crank sensors are in different locations based on year and engine size.

That vehicle has several O2 sensors and they are all threaded into the exhaust system at various points.
All O2 sensors are located on the exhaust system. Start at the exhaust manifold and work your way backward.
If the brake lights are not coming on in your car and you have changed the bulbs and the fuses with no results, you could also check the wiring in your '98 Chevrolet Lumina. The wires may be damaged or even broken.
