Off and cool to the touch.
third engine saves the day
yes the serpentine belt will be hot after running engine
i asked this question the tempture gage shows it is over heating but the engine is cold to touch
A 40cc engine wont even touch 40mph. It stresses a 175cc engine to go 40mph. A 40cc engine will go roughly 10 miles an hour based on how much the engine weighs and how much weight you put on top of it.
it depends on waht your using ipod touch go on internet try opening a menu when your on thedearch engine you want then press savve i think....
Every vehicle gets hot to the touch, it doesnt mean that your over heating or anything... a Plymouth Voyager gets 195 Degrees. the heat is actually better for the invironment then when the engine is cold because the heat helps burn all gases and keeps it from the air.
Don't touch the hot parts with your legs
After the radiator/engine is cool to touch.
If you have to ask that then it might be best you not touch any wrenches
clean the throttle body unhook both the batt. cables touch them together for 30 seconds hook batt back up and your good to go
You must open the hood. Then locate the engine. Feel the side of the engine; Is it soft to the touch? Rub it and whisper that you mean it no harm. The spark plugs will then fall out under it.
You start by pulling the Fuse from under dash relating to the ECU (Look for the Engine Symbol) I think it's No 15??? and then pull the Fuse from the Engine Compartment again looking for the Engine Symbol I know there are prob more than one so look for the one/s that DO NOT have a bolt of lightning going through the symbol this is referring to the Cranking of the Engine (Starter motor e.t.c) leave them both out for approx 30 Secs then put them back in start the engine ENSURING ALL ELECTRICAL ITEMS ARE SWITCHED OFF INC THE RADIO!!!! DO NOT TOUCH THE THROTLE FOR 5 MINS OR UNTILL ENGINE FAN COMES ON THEN GO FOR ABOUT A 2 Mile drive. this resets the ECU but also resets the Air flow Sensor measurements within the ECU itself ( Doing this between seasons can seriously help your Fuel economy!!, its too deep to explain at this time but feel free to ask the question and I will endeavour to answer it)
Defective thermostat ... it could be WIDE open and not regulating the temperatures properly. Allowing the engine to run cold like this can do more damage than good.
