You probably burned up the fuel pump. Get somebody to get into the car and shut the door and turn off the radio and A/C. Either get under the gas tank or take off the gas cap. Put your ear next to the tank or gas filler and get the person inside to turn the key to the on position. You should be able to hear the pump run for just a second. If you don't hear it chances are the pump is bad. If you hear it you might want to try changing the gas filter.

You can never over fill it with gas. It might be possible that the fuel pump in the tank has quit on you. It might be other problems also, electric...........and so on.

If the car has a hard bang such as a cd Joint coming apart it may shut off the fuel system. The switch is on the passenger kick panel near the floor . It has a small door with a reset button.
