Ok i am having the same problem with the lumina.....i have a 99.....yes the heads are aluminum.....it doenst take much to crack them......mine was a bad water pump and the thermosat went bad.....the engine kept getting hot.....now i have coolent spaying from the heads.......so when you change the blown head.....have someone check the thermosait and the water pump so it doesnt happen agian.......and good luck
