Yes it is a fuse, I have the same car and had that problem before. Pop the hood and on the left corner you will see a fuse box. Look for the backup radio, take out the fuse and check. If burned out get a new fuse for a couple of bucks, I suggest buying a box full of different ones just in case anything esle burns out you can replace in a couple seconds. Very simple
