change the thorttle responce
you could have a bad fuel injector if dirt gets into the injector it will stay open
could be bad injector, dirty throttle body, plugged converter or even a need for a tune up
i changed plugs wires throttle p sensor an checked fuel
Under the throttle body. Facing front of the van follow the radiator hose on the right side of the radiator to the engine. Where that stops is your water neck inside is the thermostat. Most of the 3400's and 3100's have coolant lines running into everything. There is 2 small coolant lines running into the throttle body. They will be kind of a pain to get off.
this is most likely a bad injector. Try a tank of premium gas and Lucas injector cleaner. If it still misses, you probably need to change an injector.
It's located right underneath the Throttle Body on the 3.1L motor. It's a little thing with wires running out from underneath it.
possibly the water pump
AnswerIs the injector actually jetting fuel into the throttle body? Ifnot the injector could be fouled. Make sure you have spark from the plugs. If not check the coil\distributor. if that doesnt work, make sure the vehicle is not backfiring because that is caused by a bad timing.. check your injector a+b fuse, and check the wiring running to the injectors...
Doesn't a 94 Buick have Throttle Body Injection? Try running injector cleaner through the fuel system first. As always, follow the manufacturers recomendations.
If it hasn't been changed, it has Throttle Body Injection (TBI). It looks similar to a carb but it will have wires running to it.
the injector might be the wrong size meaning it might be injecting too much fuel check with the dealership
Check your TPS and O2 sensors. Could be a bad thermostat. My 94 did that ,changed it and solved problem.
