this unit has a major short on it, it needs a 30 amp fuse to fix it, but when you replace the fuse under the hood fusebox the lights will stay on and there is no way to turn them off, but your panel light will go off. , i found that if i push off the over drive the truck will slow down so that i do not need to use brakes, this hapen on the grapevine.
you need to look into a manual to find the procedure to activate the code retreaval mode. this mode triggers the abs light to flash a number of times, in a first munber then second number, order. Now this code, or codes actulally refers to a wheel speed sensor, or abs pump problem. usually this manual can be found at your local pepboys, and they may also carry an abs code reader wich would come with the manual also
If you can not read codes with a scanner you have a wiring problem.
