sounds like a fuel problem check first for a plugged fuel filter if filter is OK, it is likely a fuel pump, if you have access to a fuel pressure gauge check fuel pressure a test port is located on the back of the manifold on the drivers side should be around 60lbs of pressure if not you probably need a fuel pump. the other alternative if filter is good and fuel pressure is good it may be a plugged catalytic converter
check fuel delivery
To answer your question I need to know the year model of your Chevy Celebrity as well as the engine that it has in it.1996 chevy calavlier 2.2
You Probley have a blowed head gasket.
If bleeding rears and bleeder is open and peddle wont go to the floor try a front bleeder to see if you get results. what did you do to have to bleed them?
if it starts and stays running you only have to do that to get it cranked its the tps throttle position sensor i had the same thing happen to me
bad gas filter block or low fuel pressure
I have a 92 lumina 3.4 Mine was above the brake peddle
The flasher is under the driver side . Take bottom plastic panel above gas peddle off. It will be on the right side above the gas peddle.
You may need to check your brake light switch. It is a small switch located on top of your brake peddle (up on the arm of the peddle). This switch allows the brake lights to come on whenever you push the peddle.
There is a short in the wiring or a corroded brake light receptacle.
Ignition Control Module are common to cause this. Loss of spark with heat from the engine, when it cools off, starts up.
That is a good possibility. It also could be running lean and causing it to smell that way.If it starts running poorly or wont accelerate then you will have to replace it. Need 2 find out why IT's running Rich.
