The issue may be with the fuel pump. There may also be a problem with the oxygen censor not allowing enough air flow.
Check the map senor
Pull the hot (+) positive lead on the battery while running...If car quits it's bad. Best way is to put voltmeter (Multimeter) on battery while running..if 13 + volts at idle then alternator is good, if 14+ then it's great!
To start with, you will have to determine if it loses spark or fuel when it quits. With GM's track record with fuel pumps, I would suspect a faulty fuel pump.
