fan2 should come on when the a/c is on. so both fans should be running when the a/c is on. when the a/c is not on, the driver side fan should come on when engine temperature gets up to 210 degrees. What would cause fan 1 to not come when a/c is running

When did the Earth start cooling?

The Earth started cooling about 4 billion years ago.

What can make a 1992 Toyota Corolla overheat after 10 minutes?

One possibility is a stuck thermostat. If the radiator cap is left off when the engine is started, does the water appear to be flowing from one side of the radiator to the other after the car reaches temperature? If not, the water in the cooling system is not circulating. Another possibility is a clogged radiator. A broken water pump will usually make noise, or leak. Does the fan come on at all? The fan is required for engine cooling when the vehicle is not in motion. Is the cooling system full of coolant, or can you see any when you open the radiator cap? If not, add coolant.

1992 explorer xlt v6 cooling fan remains on all times except highway?

I'M NOT A MECHANIC but isn't that the way it is supposed to work if you have a clutch fan ? I've been driving my 1995 XLT going on 13 years now, and the radiator cooling fan has always started operating even when first started in cold weather. When you are on the highway and have more air flowing through the radiator , the fan requirements are less.

What if you put radiator stop leak in the coolant reservoir?

You should try to avoid using a stop-leak product. All you'll do is gunk up your cooling system reducing cooling capacity and you'll never get that stuff out. If you have a radiator leak, remove it (usually just a matter of an electrical connector for fan(s) a couple of hose clamps and a couple of bolts holding the radiator in a bracket) and take it to a radiator repair shop. A little solder in the right place and you have a like-new radiator with full cooling capacity. If you've already added stop leak to the reservoir, remove the reservoir and rinse the stuff out. Coolant is drawn out of the reservoir when the engine is cooling down. Best case the hose from the reservoir to the radiator will get plugged. Worst case you could get a lump of sealant that might sit for hours congealing (remember the coolant isn't circulating) before the engine is started again. Cheers

Radiator fans not working in 1999 Toyota Camry?

Suzhou Santian Precision Mould Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is here to save you! Come and see why your laptop fan is not spinning!1. The cooling fan of the laptop is damaged. When the cooling fan of the laptop is damaged, the computer cannot start the cooling fan. At this time, you need to go to the computer repair shop to replace your computer cooling fan.2. The connection line of the cooling fan of the notebook computer is poor. If the cooling fan of your laptop is intact, it may be due to the poor connection of the wire connecting the cooling fan, and the cooling fan cannot be started in time.3. There is too much dust inside the notebook, and the cooling fan is stuck. When the dust of the cooling fan of the notebook computer is too much, the fan blade of the cooling fan is loaded, and it is difficult to rotate, which makes the cooling fan of the notebook computer unusable. Therefore, when using a laptop, it is necessary to clean up the internal dust in time.4. Lubricant scaling of cooling fan. After the notebook computer cooling fan uses lubricating oil, the amount of lubricating oil is too much, which causes condensation on the cooling fan blades and prevents the blades from rotating. Only need to clean the cooling fan's lubricating oil to make it run normally.5. If none of the above is the reason why the cooling fan of your laptop does not work, it may be because you are using low power when using the computer. Some ultra-polar notebooks can rely on passive cooling, without the need for additional cooling by the cooling fan, so cooling The fan does not turn. But if your laptop's cooling fan doesn't turn and the CPU is hot, take your computer to a computer repair shop as soon as possible! ! !Suzhou Santian Precision Mould Manufacturing Co., Ltd. specializes in the production of notebook computer cooling fans.

Why does your cooling fan come on as soon as you start your car?

Its just part of the cars computer, it just keeps it cool. Most cars cooling fans come on when the car is started If the AC is on it will.

What would be the cause of the AC fan not coming on - car overheating - and freon smell when the car is started?

Faulty radiator cooling fan switch or circuit; Worn or damaged cooling fan motor or circuit; Broken, missing, or defective fan blade(s); Incorrect operation information being delivered and sent from the EEC (ENGINE CONTROL COMPUTER).

Your 2000 elantra has done 160k and just this week the water in the radiator has started boiling and the temperature is almost hitting red can it be the thermostate the radiator or the head gasket?

I would start at the thermostat. Problems with the radiator and head gaskets are usually presented as visual leaks. But clogged passages in the radiator would also cause overheating issues, so have the cooling system flushed.

Why is a 2000 Dodge Intrepid running hot I was driving today and the car started running hotI stopped to check the coolant level and coolant started to bubble out of the resevoirWhy would it do that?

Coolant level low? Check when cold Cooling fan not working? Thermostat not opening? Dirty or clogged radiator? Bad radiator Cap? Water pump bad?

1997 Chevy Monte Carlo that is over heating it quit when your defroster started workin but now my heater and defroster stopped working and my car is running hot what could be the problem?

There are many reasons why an engine overheats. It can be as simple as adding coolant and water to having a cracked head or heads. You need to look at your cooling system. Check the level of your cooling fluid. Add if it is low. Then check your radiator hoses to make sure they are not collapsing when the motor is warm. You may have a weak water pump or thermostat. There can even be a blockage in the radiator or cooling system that causes overheating. You need to check them all and search down the reason.
