Other possibilities could be one of the the accessory belt idler pulleys - either the one that connects to the accessory driveshaft bracket, or the one that connects to the A/C compressor bracket. If the bearing has gone bad, it would likely produce a chirping/squealing noise. Another thought is the accessory driveshaft coupling, which is a common problem in the Previa vehicles. It consists of two round, rubber pieces that act as a support/damper between the accessory driveshaft. The rubber eventually wears out and deteriorates, which will lead to noise and vibration. Another idea is the alternator ... have you checked that out to see if the chirping sound could be due to worn alternator bearings? Or if the belt tension is too tight, that could be putting more stress on the shaft and bearings, increasing the frequency/volume of noise. If you have a mechanic's stethoscope, it would come in handy for locating/diagnosing noises such as chirps, squeals, etc. Good luck!

I still have a chirping noise after replacing the belt. Is it recommended to replace the belt tensioner when you replace the belt on a 2003 Cadillac Deville with 70K miles?

Check all your accessories pulled by the belt. There are a lot of bearings in these accessories that can cause the " chirping noise".

1998 park avenue ultra has loud knocking coming from super charger what could it be?

It might be the supercharger going bad. The supercharger has a little coupler that is located in between the supercharger nose and the main body. This coupler is located inside and once it starts to wear out it will start making a clunk sound. You can replace the coupler, replace the nose, or rebuild the whole supercharger. How to fix a supercharger with rattling in snout of supercharger is there a diagram?

If your supercharger is an Eaton type supercharger and it is making noise that is an early indication that the supercharger might need a rebuild. A lot of times the noise is actually coming from a little coupler that is located in the inside of the supercharger. This coupler has 6 holes in it and over time these rounded holes will wear out and become an oval shape. Once it becomes oval shape the supercharger will start to make a rattle sound. If left untreated the rattle will lead to the bearings going bad and then the seals. You will then need to get a complete rebuilt done on the supercharger. The coupler is easy to replace. You basically have to take the supercharger noise off with the 6 bolts that holds it and then once the two ends pull a part the coupler will be sitting right there. Just slide the coupler off of the pins and replace it. Then slide the two ends together and bolt it back up. You will also need to refill the supercharger with oil.
