Hi, I had a very similar problem, ran fine under most all conditions but pulling a steep grade. Turned out that the fuel filter was partialy plugged
. Enough gas got through in most conditions but when it needed all it could get, it was not enough. A $10 filter fixed the problem. I would check for vaccum leaks as this could cause very similar symptoms. A simple crack or split end can cause the engine to suck air instead of gas/air through the intake. There are alot of hoses and each one should be checked. even a loose end can leak and affect performance and manifold pressure.
This type of failure(cracking or splitting) is VERY common
Right before and right after the catalitic converter in the exhaust system.
fuel pump and or filter/ catalitic converter

Check to see if catalytic converter is stopped up,a clogged fuel filter can cause it to go bad .
try checking youre timing
have your transmission checked. from experience and from your repairs it might be your tranny. jr
Plugged air/fuel filter? Plugged catalytic converter?
Sounds like a plugged catalitic converter. When they heat up they block air from getting by and the engine will not run.
Have you replaced the fuel filter? Have you run a computer diagnostic test? The fuel filter was replaced last year in march. have not ran diagnostic test yet. someone said it may be the oxygen sensor due to the catlettic converter going out twice in one year. still do not know why it is dying at light and not wanting to shift. am replacing O2 sensor today.
try checking your catalyctic converter
have you replaced the fuel filter yet? a dirty filter will flow less fuel under load causing a loss of power.
Needs tune-up? fuel filter? Air filter? Plugged catalytic converter? Needs tune-up? fuel filter? Air filter? Plugged catalytic converter?
