you don't need a special tool i take them off my mudding truck all the time. you do need a set of needle nose pliers to bull the big ring off then you have to use some M A N and pull straight out on them. if your M A N dose not work then use a big set of channel lockes to pull out then it should fall out. if you have a problem getting one back in you have to move the shaft up and down tell it goes in. it should only take a few min to get this done.
Automatic or manual trans?
call me maybe 01123
Automatic or manual.. That's a broad question
Yes. Be sure to remove the pilot bushing in the back end of that crankshaft in the motor that was a standard.
This is a major mechanical project. Remove the clutch and manual transmission and the radiator. Install automatic transmission, new driveshaft, new radiator. You have just spent as much as a car is worth.
Yes you can remove a manual transmission and replace it with an automatic. You will need to buy an aftermarket shifter kit of find a shifter for your vehicle from a junk yard. You will also either have to remove the clutch pedal or replace the pedal assembly
Is this automatic or manual
remove and reinstall...tools and a manual...a good manual... ...everyone should have a manual for their vehicle, and the local library should have a professional shop manual available, to make copies of, in the Reference section...good luck:)
Hy, i have a ford fusion 2008 and I want to know how to remove the dashboard. Because I bought some LED lights and wanna plug them in. The came with a manual, but at the manual they start explaning with the dashboard already out.
There is a special tool to remove the fuel line from the filter on Rangers/Explores. I bought mine at Autozone for around $10.
It can be. If it's an automatic with the electronic NP233 transfer case, you should remove the driveshaft. If you have a manual transmission or the manual NP231 transfer case, you should shift them into neutral.
You have to remove the speedo cable on a manual and fill it there, or if automatic you fill it through the dipstick tube.. The correct level on manual should be just above the white gear.
