1997Ford Expedition steering wheel shakes at higher speeds when brakes are applied the SUV has new brakes and shocks installed did not shake with the old parts yes the tires are new also and balanced?

If you change the suspension geometry (which you did if the shocks weren't the exact same size/grade/damping) then you might have to take it to a professional. There are just too many variables, like Power Steering, steering fluid, brake fluid, brake disks installed properly, ect. Go to someone who knows what they are doing is my suggestion.
