Check your coolant level in the radiator as well as the overflow reservoir. Believe it or not, I had the same problem yesterday. This should fix your problem.
You should use a gallon of coolant.
Overload or dead short to ground Check amperage rating of alarm. Check fuse rating. Remove alarm and see if fuse still blows. If so remove bulbs and check sockets
