1997 vw golf with the lock out of the drivers side door the alarm keeps going off when you connect the battery how do you bypass this or disable it?

Try the passenger door or hatch if you have one. I dont have a drivers side lock so I have to keep unlocking the passengar door each time the battery dies.

98neon your fans will not come on changed your coolant temperature sensor checked fuse and tested fans changed what you believed to be fan relay on drivers side fire wall any ideas please?
By testing the fans, did you bypass directly to battery and they came on? Make sure you replaced the fan relays, not beleived to be. If all else fails and they come one by direct battery contact, bypass the relays and connect them direct to turn on with the ignition on.
