Hi - I live in Alaska, where temps. drop very low (below zero) but the rule of thumb is "plug at 20", meaning plug in your car at 20 deg. or below...Today must have been right at 20 deg. or just below that today and my 1997 Dodge intrepid wouldn't start. It finally did, but I only plugged it in for like 2 min. and it sounded like I blew or damaged something. However, everything seemed to be working fine on the way to the store and back so I should be good. Anyways with the intrepids or any car at that, get an extension cord and plug in the plug in the front of your car to an outlet and after 20-30 min. your car will start just fine (plus it's really good for it!).
:)
Sounds like a starter or battery problem, possibly wiring problem
you probly need a new battery.
sensor
apparently you failed 7th grade english... Please restate this question in proper form to make sense
Valve clatter? Check oil level and pressure? Fuel mixture?
well i dont no what to say bro
Had same problem with 98 2.7 liter - starts cold but if shut off warm, would not start for an hour or so. Was getting fuel but not spark. Take a chance and replace ASD relay in engine compartment fuse box (about $12.00 diy)
No.
because its cold
It turned out to be the crank shaft sensor. had dodge install it and car runs and starts great now.
Check to make sure the intake heater is working.
Have a 98 2.7 litre that would do that. Before doing anything else, replace ASD relay in engine compartment fuse block (diy $12). Would start fine cold, but often would not start after shutting off when engine was warm. Had to wait until engine compartement cooled off. Was getting fuel but no spark.
