Late 98 they stopped using EGR valves on the S-10. They installed a block off plate in its place.
GM doesn't have the fuel pump inertia switch. That's a Ford thing.

Ther is no egr valve on the 2.2 turbo engines. With FI and turbo, there was no need. Some of the earlier carb engines did have egr.

I changed the EGR valve, PVC valve, now it has gotten worse. I also cleaned the throttle body.
The thermostat is on the water pump.(the left side in the front of the car) 2 screws to take out that's all
lr stands for long rifle(uses a bullet) I dont know where you got 22l from
the t.p.s is right across from the throttle cable on the throttle body the when u find it u will see how to take it off
My 97 cavalier 2.2L engine takes 4 quarts. There are two different 2.2 Chevy motors. One holds about 4 qts. and one holds about 5qts. Always check after filling and circulating the oil.
