the mountains influance the climate and the airflow from the ocean......
Mode switch is for the climate control. It allows you to direct the airflow from your feet, to the dash vents, defrost etc.
They recommend 5W 20. You can use 5W 30 if you live in a warm climate. I wouldn't use 10W30 unless you live in a climate where it never go below 32F
Set the dual climate to the same temperature or turn the ac off, failing that open the other vents to lower the airflow.
depends on your climate, but a good synthetic 5w-30 will be sweet. As long as its API SG or higher
Depends on the climate you're in. If you still have the manual, it's in there. 10w30 or 10w40 are both good unless you are in extreme hot or cold.
The temperature sensors for automatic climate control are located at the air intake for recirculation of cabin air under the dashboard.
One end is attached to your control selector mounted in the console. the other end is connected to a bracket next to the air vacuum cut off switch. This switch is located behind the glove box, which has to be removed. If you take off the passenger side console side cover you will see the adjuster for the cable and see where it connects to the selector. You have to remove the center section console to get underneath to disconnect it........
No. 5W30 unless you live in a really hot climate, and then 5W40. Only if you have a Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi or Hyundai should you use 5W20.
need more information, what year, do you have duel climate control, give me a little more information. If one side is hot and one is cold, you have a distribution problem in the dash. Could be a loose fitting, a broken airflow control door, a controller issue, etc. i don't have dual climate control. 06 jeep grand Cherokee

Topographical features like mountains can block or redirect prevailing winds, leading to variations in temperature and rainfall on different sides of the mountain. Large bodies of water can moderate temperatures, creating a more temperate climate near coastlines. Large cities can create heat islands due to factors like paved surfaces and energy use, which can impact local temperature and precipitation patterns.
