Try tapping it out with a tapping tool, or buy a helicoil kit. Worst case scenario, get a new head but it can most likely be fixed using those methods. If you don't feel confident enough then bring it to a mechanic first, but make sure it is a trusted mechanic otherwise they will more than likely try to rip you off and tell you that you need to buy a new head. Just Google "helicoils" and read about them they should solve your issue.

On my 1990 Voyager, the transmission has a "safe," or "limp" mode. If something is wrong with the trans, it will not shift out of second gear. This is supposedly to allow you to drive to the repair shop at a reduced speed.
There are seals under the valve cover that need replaced to repair oil on the spark plugs.
There is no safe way to repair a plastic fuel tank, you must replace it.

Get a screwdriver & pry off the wheel cover
You can purchase a repair manual at most Auto Parts stores that should have a diagram. Also look closely on the underside of the hood.
