The three variations of Ethernet are primarily distinguished from one another by speed:
(1) 10-Mbps Ethernet, (2) 100-Mbps or Fast Ethernet, and (3) 1000-Mbps or Gigabit Ethernet.
10 base2 (thinnet), 10base5 (thicknet), 10baseT,100baseT (twisted-pair)
The three speed does have a hydraulic governor in the transmission. The four speed does not.
It can be done, but may not be the most feasible.

4 speed.
Depends on which transmissions you're comparing. A three speed will typically be a direct drive transmission, meaning there is no overdrive gear.
TH125 three speed.
If the PRNDL indicator is electronic, it is a 4 speed
No, it should have a 4 speed transmission.
10-Mbps Ethernet, 100-Mbps or Fast Ethernet, and 1000-Mbps or Gigabit Ethernet.
95 buick century
Yes
On the four speed automatic, it is inside the transmission on the valve body. On the three speed, it is on the front of the transmission case.
