most likely the alternator is dead and when the battery drops below certain voltage the computer for the car can no longer operate and the vehicle shuts down
try the converter lock out sensor in the transmission
Check your fuel pressure first then go from there.
It sounds like your alternator is no longer recharging your battery. You probably need a new alternator.

If you can get your vehicle started you can then un hook the battery while it is running and if your vehicle stays running then your alternator is good. replace the alternator
take negative off battery for 30 minutes and clean the Throttle Body
Check it for codes, check the fuel pressure, check the battery connections.....
If your iPod stalls do you mean like freeze? Like you can't anything at all but let the battery run out?Well if that happens all you have to do is hold the MENU and middle button together for about 10 seconds and it will reset.
if you can start car pull off the neg battery cable if car stalls its the altinater if it stays running it might be the battery
Start the car and while it is running, disconnect the positive cable from the battery. If the car stalls, the alternator is bad.
