most likely the alternator is dead and when the battery drops below certain voltage the computer for the car can no longer operate and the vehicle shuts down
try the converter lock out sensor in the transmission
Check your fuel pressure first then go from there.
It sounds like your alternator is no longer recharging your battery. You probably need a new alternator.
a dead battery
Sounds like a torque converter lock up solenoid.
If you can get your vehicle started you can then un hook the battery while it is running and if your vehicle stays running then your alternator is good. If it stalls and dies as soon as you unhook the battery then the alternator is not good.If you can get your vehicle started you can then un hook the battery while it is running and if your vehicle stays running then your alternator is good. replace the alternator
take negative off battery for 30 minutes and clean the Throttle Body
Check it for codes, check the fuel pressure, check the battery connections.....
if you can start car pull off the neg battery cable if car stalls its the altinater if it stays running it might be the battery
If your iPod stalls do you mean like freeze? Like you can't anything at all but let the battery run out?Well if that happens all you have to do is hold the MENU and middle button together for about 10 seconds and it will reset.
Start the car and while it is running, disconnect the positive cable from the battery. If the car stalls, the alternator is bad.
you could pull off your positive battery cable if it stalls out then you alternator is the problem
it could be the starter
i had that problem with mine. the problem was an intake vaccuum leak. the engine wasnt getting enough air sucked in at idle and stalling out.
There is no specific collective noun for stalls, in which case a collective noun suitable for the circumstances is used, for example a row of stalls, a group of stalls, a bank of stalls.
go and have your brakes checked out it could be anumber of things but have it checked out and they can tell you exactly what is wrong!
The main effect you will notice the car stalls and goes dead. The computer shuts down the fuel injectors. If you have problems with the theft system and "NORMAL" procedures dont reset the theft system, check the plug on the wire harness under the battery and there are a couple of "ground wires" under there ,too.
Will it even attempt to engage the starter?. If not then the battery or charging system needs to be looked at.
In Singapore, Sarabat Stalls are stalls selling drinks particularly milk tea
When you unhook the battery the computer loses its voltage reference. It then doesn't know what to set the alternator at, along with the voltage spike that happens when unhooking the battery.
to make a quick check -- start car - disconnect the positive cable at the battery as it is running - if car stalls the alternator is bad if it stays running the battery is probably too weak to hold a charge. (daddmac)
because the car can't take up hill but can take down hill
I'm no expert, but it could be a battery or alternator related problem.
A loose battery cable can cause your vehicle to on most stall and it can cause the lights to Flickr. Make sure your battery cables are tight and free of corrosion.
