I've had the same problem on my
= 2001 Dodge ram van 1500 blower swith = I raised the hood and did the Fonzarelli trick and just hit the the
blower motor cover. A couple of hits and it came on low hit it
again and it was on high. Hope it works for you>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Your truck has both. the resistor is between the switch & blower.thje resistor controls the blower speed
No such part exists
replace the blower motor switch
Failed blower motor, resistor or switch.
The blower motor speed resistor is burned out.
It is usually a resistor on or near the switch in the dash.
Behind the glove box door.
Check the blower motors ground and power in the truck and the blower motors resister......
The control switch is probably faulty (or faulty wiring to the switch and/or motor). the resistor unit must be open cicuit that is mounted in the air duct near the blower usually
check the blower motor resistor located on fire wall behind washer fluid tank
Blown fuse? Bad blower motor? Bad resistor pack at blower motor? Bad switch?
Your ignition switch has failed. There is a good chance that the wiring plug for the switch has melted slightly due to a blower motor that is pulling too many amps. You will have to replace the switch, plug, and blower motor.
