It is inside the glove box. Open the glove box and on the left-top side there is a black button that opens the trunk. All you have to do is push the button. I am not sure but in white markings it might say trunk release or has a small diagram of a trunk open or opening.
check to see if there is a botton to pop the trunk in the glovebox, i just got my neon and mine is in there.

No, all Dodge Neon's do not have a trunk release. This was part of the option package offered on some of the earlier Dodge Neons.

you should not have to force it open, just lay down the rear seats and there shuold be a cord there to open the trunk from the inside. There should also be a Trunk Release Button in the glove box... :)

If you do not have a yellow trunk release button in the glove box. there is an emergancy release handle inside of the trunk. Fold down your rear seat back and there is a white plastic handle pull it and the trunck will open.
