2001 Chrysler voyager blower motor is making a growling sound and won't blow unless the car gets up to a fast speed Is the blower motor going out?

It sounds like the bearing is going bad and the motor only runs quite slowly when it's "growling". If you could get to the bearings you might be able to lubricate them and get more life out of the blower, but it's generally not considered practical since blower motors are generally quite reasonably priced. The worst part may be figuring out how to remove/replace the motor.
