Assuming that you are pushing on the brake pedal ( it has a brake-shift interlock

where you have to push on the brake pedal to shift out of park ) it sounds like a

problem with the brake-shift interlock . Click on the link below , click on Owner Guides ,

the Owner Guide ( which includes the instructions on what to do if the gear selector

won't come out of the park position ) can be viewed online
