2001 Sable The panic alarm with lights horn goes off randomly you can push the button on the key fob to stop The car does not have an alarm How can you find the problum or the relay?

Suddenly in the last month, my 2001 Merc Sable panic horn goes off randomly. I can of course stop it with the remote panic button, but what is causing this? I can only guess that some other simialar radio signal is activating it. Maybe there is a better answer out there and how do we fix this. It goes off at all times of the night mostly.
