Try cleaning your air intake filter, then a tune up, (plugs and wires) an oil change and get an explorer <---(joke im a Ford guy haha)
Bad gas mileage can sometimes be attributed to a vehicle in need of a tune-up. Have your car serviced and see if that improves the gas mileage.
YES
You have a bad fan clutch..............
It does not have one. It don't even have a distributor in it. You either have a bad cam sensor or crank sensor if it's not firing.
Could be lots of things. How bad is bad? Should be getting 15+
bad gas mileage
Probably the fuel pump is bad.
Remove switch panel and jump wires on switch- if this works bad switch Remove door panel and see if the motor is getting power-if it is getting power, bad motor
I think 5w30 if you don't have too high mileage. If you do have high mileage on your car then it's not a bad idea to use oil with higher viscosity, for instance 10w30.
Being a GM, one reason could be a bad fuel pump, another reason could be a bad fuel pump and then again it could be a bad fuel pump. I would check the fuel pump.
If the starter does not turn then it could either be bad or not getting power. If a volt meter can not be used to determine that voltage is present, then the starter can be pulled and taken to be tested.
You need to check the charging system with a volt meter. It should have 13.9 to 14.2 volts at the battery with engine running.
