im not sure what you mean by "pressure hose" but if its part of the evaporative emission controls, it pressurizes itself. if you disconnect then reconnect the battery, the check engine light should go out. if that was the problem, the light will stay off. if it comes back on, bring it to a garage, they can "scan" it and find more specifically what the problem is.
Check your gas cap. If the tank does not build pressure, it trips a sensor and the check engine light will come on. The gas smell is the fumes that should have created the pressure.
There is no such thing as an oil pressure light on most cars. Some cars have oil pressure gauges, and all have a "Engine" light or "Check Engine" light with a picutre of either an oil can, or Engine Block The oil pressure warning light usually looks like a little red oil can. The check engine light looks like a little yellow engine.

No
Please be more specific--there is no such thing as an "engine light". There is a Check Engine Light or Service Engine Soon light. You have to remove the instrument cluster to replace the bulb for this or any other instrument light.
an oil light is designed to come on when there is NO oil pressure or LITTLE oil pressure. that said, when your oil light is on before you start your engine there is NO oil pressure to turn it off until you start the engine.
Tire pressure will not cause a check engine light.
Oil level or pressure will not trip a check engine light.
If you are referring to the oil light then you do not reset it. The oil light comes on when it detects low oil pressure. The light will go out when the problem is corrected. Can be the engine is low of oil, does not have sufficient pressure, or the oil pressure sending unit it bad.
Never seen a check engine oil light. There is a low oil pressure light which means you have low oil pressure which could be low oil level among other things.
An oil pressure gauge and or the idiot light.
The light comes on when the car stalls because the engine is not running and the pump therefore is not pumping. The pressure will always be 0 when the engine stalls and the light is directly related to pressure. This is normal, you have no problem, other than the engine stalling.
