If the light is blinking, that is a bad sign. Take it to a shop and have them read the code. It could mean your catalytic converter is failing. Can be the ignition coils, just replaced mine at 31.25 a piece.

You go to the Doctor and he asks you a peepot of questions like how old is the Bronco. What do your feed it ect. Is it a carb or FI system/Hesitation is the carb pump. Don't try to beatthe train across the tracks either yet.

If you were to continue driving and just ignore the blinking check engine light you can cause damage to the catalytic converter which would cost you a lot more money

302 is a misfire on cylinder #2.Try checking the coil pack at night with the engine running - what I'm suspecting is a cracked coil. Especially if it gets worse during damp weather.Lots more in the "Related Questions" below for more about misfiring trouble-shooting
