could very well be the injector. could also be the distributer or the plug lead
Plugs, wires, coil, distributor, injector, internal engine....
Could be a dead fuel injector.
No other code? Just "random multiple misfires"? That's odd. There should be some additional code along with the one you describe.
this could be caused by a fuel problem, not spark. check to see if your getting spark to the plug. ck to see if the injector is firing, and run a compression test on that cylinder
start with new plugs
Misfires at low speed
Fuel injector?, wire? manifold leak?
If a Dodge Dakota misfires under acceleration, the problem is either the spark plugs, the coil, or the distributor. It could also be a problem with the fuel pump, fuel filter, or the carburetor.
Spark plugs, coil packs, injector, internal engine problems, etc.Spark plugs, coil packs, injector, internal engine problems, etc.
Low compression in a cylinder, a burnt valve, loose plug or plug wire, bad injector, bad electronics.
not necessarily unless after replacing plugs your engine misfires.
Change all your spark plugs and it won't any more
