On a 1998 Ford Explorer , fuse # 18 , 25 amp , is for the drivers unlock relay , all unlock relay , and all lock relay
On my ( 1995 ) Ford Explorer XLT the power door lock relays ( 3 relays ) are in with the tire jack , behind the removable plastic panel on the drivers side of the cargo area . I assume your 2000 would be the same . There are ( 3 ) relays : - all door lock - all door unlock - drivers door unlock
Press the 3/4 button within 5 seconds of unlocking the drivers door with the keypad and all other doors and the liftgate will unlock ( at least that's the way it is on my 1995 Ford Explorer XLT )
The wiring or the locking mechanism may be damaged in your ford explorer. You need to take it to an auto shop to have diagnostic testing done.
If you are referring to your power door lock on the driver's door, I know that on my 1995 Explorer XLT, in the jack storage compartment there are relays for driver door unlock/all door unlock/all door lock/ and two more relays for interior lamps and trailer park lamps.

You probablu have a swinging open in your electrical harness. Possibly where it goes from the body to the drivers door.
Press the unlock button twice it's been set to unlock drivers first on +2004MY settings are on the central display menu
