first you need to take the brake caliper off and hang them with a wire or plastic strap then take the rotor off you need to take the axle nut off to that is located in the middle of the rotor, once you got it off you need a rubber mallet to hit it until is loose, now you need to take the bolts and nuts of the struts there should be two of them and then take the nut off the lower ball joint then there is a small nut that hold the assembly take it off then hammer out the bolt. once is out you need a ball joint separator that looks like a big fork you can rent this at autozone, once you got the assembly out you need to bring it to the auto shop or nearest car quest to get it press out (wheel bearing) and have them press the new one in, it's about 30-35 dollars to do it. then do the prosses backward, hope this help im in a hurry about to rapelace the whole suspension on my sis-in law 02 escape need a major job.... bye the way this is tsog..
