Answer no, it has a controller.There is no resistors or relay. There is a blower controller mounted on the firewall, beneath the heater hoses. This was my problem. It cost $46.20 at Mercury or Ford dealers. I'm told that it is a common failure. It's not so easy to replace but you can unplug the cable and plug it into the new one to confirm the failure.
SORRY, BUT THAT'S NOT CORRECT.
There is a Heater Blower Resistor for both, the systems with automatic temp control and without. If you don't have the automatic temp control, good for you, all of the auto parts stores carry them in stock. If you do have auto temp control, or ATC/EATC, they will probably have to order it directly from Ford, which can take anywhere from a couple of days to a week.
If the replacing the resistor doesn't work, you may have to replace the blend door, which is a lot more work.
