compare the bulb make sure it is the right number bulb or check inside the sucket and see if the connection are not damage or get a test light to see if there is power comming to the back when the brake is depress
The bulbs should be checked on a 1993 Dodge Dakota if the taillights are not working. The plugs on the trailer package should also be checked to make sure that they are working.
I had the same problem with mine, changed the plug in the bumper, started working again.
Check to see if you are getting power through the switch Check to see if you are getting power and ground to the sockets Broken wire from switch Problem in steering column? Turn signal over-ride not releasing?
I had a problem with the shift lock and the problem ended up being the brake solenoid. This is a brake switch that in forms the transmission that you have your foot on the brake. If you don't heat a click when you push on the brake, I would have that checked.
you either don't have the brake fully dis-engaged or you need to have your brakes checked for wear.
Hello, I have had a similar problem with a car in the past. In the Brake Line going to that wheel you will find there is a high pressure Rubber hose in that line. Its likely that the inner lining of that hose has failed, and causes a blockage. Also, did you change the brake Cylinders that operate the wheel brake, in the wheel, when the brakes were fixed ? Cheers.
If the ABS light is on that means a problem has been detected with the Anti-lock Brake System It could be a fuse , a sensor , or some other problem As long as the red " BRAKE " light in your dash is not on , you still have " normal " brakes
You need to have the engine and abs checked for codes.
The ebrake is on. Release the E-brake and it should go out. If that isn't the problem check the brake fluid, if low top off and it to a shop to get checked. If the brake fluid is full you should get it towed to a shop and checked. Don't drive it because it may have a brake failure somewhere.
I had this same problem. If the bulbs and the fuses are good its most likely the brake switch. Its a plunger like switch on the brake pedal. Its usually the only thing on the brake pedal. Its pretty easy and cheap to change. I would start there.
There may be a problem inside the brake drum. There may be a problem inside the brake drum.
The ABS computer has detected an electrical or mechanical malfunction. You need to have it checked for codes.
