I had one person heat the hinge with a welding torch until it was cherry red, and then I used an air chisel to inch it out. We did this back and forth getting about an 1/8 of an inch each time. Replace with a new hinge and use the pins with a grease fitting.
You can replace the top door hinge with bottom hinges on the 1992 as long as the hinge is for the cab doors. The hinges for the tailgate would not work on the doors.
Replace all the door hinge pins and bushings. By doing so it will realign the door back to where it belongs.
If it is dangling then most likely the hinge pin has rusted away. Take the assembley out and then you should be able to pop out the rusted remains of the hinge pin and use a small nail as a new pin. that is what i did to fix mine.
on the bottom of the hinge pins there is a nut, you remove that and then lift the doors straight up!!
Only the hinge pins can be replaced without major bodywork as the hinges are welded to the doors and the frame.
to remove the doors you un-bolt the door then you lift the door up and off of the hinge.
I had to remove my doors to do it. You will need access to the bodyshop tool that compresses the door spring on the hinge. That was the only hard part. You will also need to unhook all connections for power windows, locks too.Took me about 2 -3 hours the first time I did it. Mark
A little grease.

Broken wire in hinge area of door
Replace the hinge pins and bushings.
The hinge is the mechanism that allows a door to move, or swing freely (open and close). Without a hinge, a door would simply be a piece of material used to block an opening that would require someone to pick it up and move it to pass through the opening. So - no hinge, no 'door'.
