hey i just had this problem and fixed it right away. this is what i did. check the fuse marked ROOM15a, at the left of the driver side, fuse box
PULL IT OUT and change it whether blown or not, should fix it
in most cases yes, however some radios have a separate plug for external control features. Most of these I have seen are own brands only so you could consider upgrading to a newer model radio
More than likely the answer is no.
take off the dash then you need to unscrew the CD player and pull out the wire. (make sure that you have the harness for the new CD player and for the car.) splice the old wires and reatach them with the new harness wires,(they should be color coded and matched) then plug the new car adapter harness into the harness for the CD player. After all that, plug your antenna adapter into the back of the CD player and then screw everything back in. Note that you might need the dash installation kit, because usually the CD players are smaller than the stock players. And as for the buttons on the steering wheel, you will need to spend the extra money so that you will be able to buy the right harness for the steering wheel controls to work. -Shocker
Once the DISH remote is programmed to your DVD player, it can be operated in AUX mode. To get to that mode, press the AUX button on the upper right corner of the remote control.
Yes, there is always a way! go to www.pac-audio.com and they have several things available for different CD players and even instructions for your car. Good Luck!
You can plug in the nunchuck to control steering differently or you could use the gamecube controller which is the same controls as the ds.
Most likely replace the clock spring. Or check all plugs going to the stereo unit including inside the Steering wheel. Be sure to disconnect negative battery terminal for 2 minutes before opening the steering wheel for safety reasons regarding the airbag if fitted.

If your simply pressing buttons on the actual DVD player, it knows what to do because the buttons are hard-wired into the board. If your using the remote, it sends a unique infra-red signal for each button that tells the DVD player what is being pressed.
If you plug in 2 controllers into the PS, in battles, the 2nd player can control characters as well, making command selection faster (if you 2 are working together that is :P).
