Most likely replace the clock spring. Or check all plugs going to the stereo unit including inside the Steering wheel. Be sure to disconnect negative battery terminal for 2 minutes before opening the steering wheel for safety reasons regarding the airbag if fitted.
The first thing to look for is a blown fuse. Then there should be a master reset done on the computer to reset the error this should resolve the problem.
Low Power Steering Fluid
If the controls on the steering wheel are mixing up or not working odds are the rotating electrical contact ( clock spring) is failing. Replacing it should fix the problem. When mine failed I experienced the following symptoms. First the air bag light came on. Later the audio controls would mix up then the horn and cruise control stopped working.
Motor is idling rough.
Such a vehicle is said to be parked.
Controls of cells will be stopped.Functions also will be stopped.
This question can be referring to two separate conditions. If the steering shaking while the brake pedal is being applied the condition maybe warped rotors. If there is steering wheel play while the vehicle is stopped and or moving it is an indicator or worn or failed column components.
I'm not a mechanic / technician but if your horn and cruise control stopped working at the same time , it might be the clock-spring inside your steering wheel column cover . The clockspring allows a person to turn the steering wheel while still maintaining the electrical connections to your horn and cruise control buttons

must CHECK HORN RELAY IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT SEEK A RELAY DIAGRAM BUT FOR MEMORY I BELIEVE IS THE NO. 4 RELAY. I CAN NO GIVE YOU AN ANSWER REGADING THE STEERING WHELL CONTROL.
Something serious broke in the steering.
