Could be, but I think your Low beam light bulbs might have just burnt out. Also it could be like me your wiring might have a short... If you do have to replace the lowbeam bulbs and you notice within a 3 month period(or less) that the lowbeam bulbs go out, you might want to have a professional examine your car. My lowbeams go out alot since the original bulbs burnt out. As I drive alot at night I allowed for the extra usage (I'd never done so much night driving). Within 6 months I'd burned out 4 new bulbs...
a mi me paso eso se arregla con solo cambiar el relay de luces y punto ya vuelve las luces a prender....
There are a couple of reasons why a headlight keeps blowing on a 2001 HyundaiÊ Elantra. There could be a problem with the ground circuit or the connector.
Not a problem
If the headlights flash on and off, there may be a problem with the bulbs or fuses. There may also be a problem with the battery connections or wiring.
I had a problem with my headlights going off, not the high beams. Replaced the rectangular silver can thingy at the fuse panel under the dash on the drivers side. I put a higher rated one in, which is a no no, but it solved the problem of the headlights going out.
check the fuse
There's a TSB on this problem.
hi the dip headlight means that you have a problem with the headlights it is a common problem recognized by the factory.
A couple of possible reasons why your headlights don't light up: 1. Both headlights are burned out. 2. The headlight switch has gone bad. 3. There is a wiring problem.
1. You have a busted headlights. 2. You have a busted fuse for the headlight. 3. Have an Electrical wiring connection problem. 4. No battery charge
You contradict yourself. If your headlights are staying on during the day, then your DRL are working. What is your problem?
I Had the same problem. Found answer here:http://www.2carpros.com/topics/airbag.htm Basically, it is the voltage regulator causing a voltage spike and blowing the lights and causing an airbag issue. I haven't yet fixed the problem but seems to make sense with the symptoms I had (bright flicker before lights went out).
