There is no top fill tube on the truck... must drain and fill at the transmission... take it to a trany shop..especilly if it is an automatic... should change fluid and filter every 30 to 35K miles
Where is the fill plug on a 2005 Toyota tacoma Auto transmission
dextron at any auto parts store
Some auto parts place told me that the transmission, transfer case, and differentials use 75w90
I have a 2000 Tacoma 4x2 and it uses Dextron II. Pull out the dipstick where you check the trans fluid level and it should be stamped on it.
If auto--through dispstick tube If Std.--through plug at side of trans. In either case Do Not overfill
The oil pressure gauge is going to fluctuate on a Toyota Tacoma or any automobile. The oil pressure is less when the auto is idling and more when the auto is going down the road.
Try asking a question.
There is no such thing as a PCV valve. The PVC valve is attached to your valve cover. I will be waiting for your post "where is the valve cover on a 2005 Tacoma?" and "where is the cylinder head on a 2005 Tacoma?" and "where is the hood release mechanism on a 2005 Tacoma?" and "where can I buy auto parts for a 2005 Tacoma?" and the inevitable "I removed something on the engine of my 2005 Tacoma and now it won't start?"
