Check the tire pressure for all of the tires - including the spare! I could not get the light off in my RAV4 for months despite checking all 4 tires, however I never checked the spare. Once I properly inflated the spare tire, the light went off. I have no idea how it monitors the pressure in the spare, but somehow it does. A link to how the monitoring works on these vehicles: http://www.cars101.com/Subaru/tiremonitor.html Basically, the valve stem has a sensor and wirelessly transmits the signal to the car. Even the spare has this type of valve stem.
