there is a test for the ecm : Take a small 1/4 drive ratchet and tap on the side of your ecm lightly if the car stalls the ecm is bad. Also the air flow meter will cause the same thing to happen. disconnect the airflow meter and start the car if no change then most likely the airflow meter is bad another check to verify that remove it from your vehicle and hold it up to the light there is a small wire inside if it is broken it is bad.
It could be you thermostat is bad.take it out and replace They're cheap and easy to install.
Why is 94 corvette running hot
it coud be your ignition switch,or your key tumbler.put your key in the ignition and see if you have any movement in it .it has to be running to try this just make sure you try it towards you.that's what it was on mine
Why is my 1995 Corvette running at high temperatures in town, 237or higher?
check the fuse for ingnition
yes Not all '87 models have this feature. To my knowledge it is manditory in the Canadian version.
Do they ever shut off? Some fans are designed to run a minute or so after the car is shut off to prevent boil over.
YES IT WILL not only on a 1994 but it happened to my 1988 corvette and the more that you try to start it the more damage you do to the gear on the distributor shaft which in my case runs the oil pump.gear was destroyed .you must then give many oil changes without running the engine to try to get the broken pieces out of the engine OR ELSE when you do get it running you will destroy the engine !!
Because the flapper is stuck.
Remove the fuse.
Moe information is required to answer this question. Do yu mean why/how is the AC Blower still running? If this is the question it is probably because when turning the ignition switch off a delay timer leaves accessory power on for about 30 seconds before shutting down.
Depends if you have the ignition running or just the say you left the lights on. If you just left the ignition on all night nothing will happen except just running out of fuel. If you left your lights on without ignition running your battery will die.
