YES IT WILL not only on a 1994 but it happened to my 1988 corvette and the more that you try to start it the more damage you do to the gear on the distributor shaft which in my case runs the oil pump.gear was destroyed .you must then give many oil changes without running the engine to try to get the broken pieces out of the engine OR ELSE when you do get it running you will destroy the engine !!
Yes, sometimes a faulty ignition switch can cause the engine to not fire. Also, a bad spark park can the engine to not fire.
Faulty ignition switch.
Possible reason there is no spark on a 1987 to 1990 Chevrolet Celebrity V6: This assumes that the spark plugs and wires are in good order and the ignition key is on. No power to the ignition module. Faulty ignition module. Faulty crankshaft position sensor. Faulty wiring or connectors. Faulty engine control module (engine computer) There may well be others, these are common causes I have seen.
because you have an engine misfire.most likely the DI cassette is faulty. (Ignition)
you probably have a faulty ignition coil, especialy if engine generaly denies to start from time to time...
Car had a faulty immobilizer that caused the problem.
ignition switch faulty
Not much info to go on. Is the starter cranking the engine?

It's probably a faulty keyswitch.
Faulty wiring, faulty ignition switch, or possibly a faulty neutral safety switch.
...could be allot of reasons why you may not be getting spark, here are some: # no power to ignition coil. faulty ignition. # faulty distributer cap, rotor. # faulty ignition module. # check for start signal from ecm. ...and there is a few more.
