Sounds like it is not charging, have the charging system tested, it may be the alternator At Fault.
A loose battery cable can cause your vehicle to on most stall and it can cause the lights to Flickr. Make sure your battery cables are tight and free of corrosion.
I'm no expert, but it could be a battery or alternator related problem.
if you can start car pull off the neg battery cable if car stalls its the altinater if it stays running it might be the battery
It sounds like your alternator is no longer recharging your battery. You probably need a new alternator.
with the car boosted and running remove negative cable if it stalls it's your alternater if not check out battery cables p.s loosen cable before starting.
There's a solinoid in the transmission.Suggest to check that first. Turn on interior lights. Start engine. If the lights go out when the engine stalls, you have a bad ignition switch.
This is a dirty throttle body. Very common on our trucks.
a dead battery
start the car then remove positive battery teminal if car stalls then your alternator is bad(sounds like it is but that will tell you for sure)
a simple test to check the alternator is to disconnect either one of the battery terminals battery while the car is still running at its slowest speed if the enginge quits the alternator is bad, or an easier test is to rev the engine from idle with the head lights on and observe if the lights get brighter. do you have a manual for the car?
Turn on your headlights and hazard lights, call 911
If you are using the original coded key with the security sensor in it your battery may need replacing (in the key), now if you are using a copy of the coded key ...bad news it won't work because it doesn't have the code programed into it.
