Which sensors have you replaced, these cars have 2 of them. One located on the thermostat housing, and one located on the rear of the block under the exhaust manifold.
Check the temperature at the radiator when hot Cooling fan is designed to come on only when:A/C Compressor is on (either during cooling or defrosting) orwhen coolant temperature exceeds 235 degrees Fahrenheit
I have seen this before more than likely your coolant sensor has a internal short and needs to be replaced.
I replaced the water filter about two weeks ago. Everything worked fine for about a week. Now it does not cool
You may have to replace the cooling fan relay or the cooling fan itself, I had the same problem and I first replaced the relay and it helped but then the cooling fan went out and I repalced it and now everything is fine.
Take it to a qualified mechanic
Your temperature sensor, located on the thermostat housing could be faulty or unplugged.
You have to be more specific. Which fan? Blower motor for the heat/ac.......clutch fan for cooling.......electric fan for cooling.....? Wish I could help, if you can add more info, just send it to me on my board.
its a relay switch
To bleed the cooling system on a Pontiac 2.4 engine, there is a small hose near the bottom of the radiator that needs to be removed. Then remove the radiator cap and the cap on the radiator overflow tank.
