I own an 1996 V6 GX Toyota Camry I have recently changed the spark plugs but I think I have got the spark plug leads in the wrong order on the distributor cap. Starting at 1200 and going clockwise, can anyone tell me the correct firing order? Thank you

You can get a diagram of the distributor cap wiring for a 91 Classic Range Rover at most major auto parts stores. Libraries and book stores also have books with the wiring diagram.

(This is from the 91 Caprice service manual for the HEI ignition system) Looking at the distributor cap from the front of the engine bay, and running clockwise around the cap from about the 1 o'clock position, the wire numbering is: 3,6,5,7,2,1,8,4
Looking from the balancer to the rear of the engine it is at the front of the dist on the right.

it only goes on one way. as long as you havent moved your distributor you are fine. place the cap on the distributor body and rotate the cap until it sits in the little grooves made for it. Snap the 2 little metal retainers onto the little flat step and bingo. job done it only goes on one way. as long as you havent moved your distributor you are fine. place the cap on the distributor body and rotate the cap until it sits in the little grooves made for it. If the motor is a 5.8L Windsor the Coil is directly under the distributor cap in the front of the motor on the right hand side.
