Try disconnecting the temperature switch where the upper radiator meets the head. If it remains running them it is probably the fan timer unit located under the dash to the left of the steering column.

The sensor on the thermostat housing is a cooling fan switch. Cooling fan switch closes the circuit to engage the cooling fan(s) when the optimum temperature is reached.
