Try the idiling positioner or run it for about five minutes or the converter is stopping up.

check the air filter sensors, make sure its sealed. itll sound like its stalling out after a few seconds to a few minutes
You are going to get stuck, if it ever accidently shuts off/stalls.
probly a bad optispark (distibuter). Could be several things but this is the most commen problem with lt1 f bodies
To prevent icing up, the AC compressor only turns on when the "low side" pressure is above a certain set-point. Once enough refrigerant has been pumped out of the low side, the compressor shuts off momentarily. When it comes back on it may make some "random noise".
The alternator is going bad, may need to be replaced soon

I HAVE 2 89 IROCS BOTH WITH 350s,I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM.TURNS OUT THE MOTOR GETS VERY HOT AND HEATS UP THE STARTER,WICH THEN SHUTS OFF THE ENGINE.THE FIX?BUY A HIGH PERFOMANCE STARTER FOR ABOUT 200$ OR BUY A 40$ BLANKIT AND WRAP THE STARTER TO PROTECT IT FROM HEAT.I DID ONE ON EACH ONE FIXED!
i believe so, take it to a local kragen and have them check your battery for free.
